Sonoma Vineyard treehouse: Creating 3D tree models for treehouse design!

This beautiful Eucalyptus tree was turned into a digital 3D  replica of the actual tree using photogrammetry.  The tree model is imported into the 3D modeling software, Sketchup, where the treehouse is designed and “built” to scale in the virtual tree.  This very accurate modeling technique results in a design that can be constructed very efficiently in the tree.  The model allows the client to visualize their dream treehouse before it’s built!  Check out the specifics by clicking the “Technologic Design Workshops” tab at the top of the page.  The workshops are taught by the developer of the technique, John Shulters from Ascension Studios.
